Book & Cookie Club

For children in 3rd through 5th grades.
The child and parent/adult will read the selected book together and then attend the club’s meeting to discuss it with others while enjoying a cookie or two.

Book Club in a Bag

Book Club in a Bag kits contain everything you need to host a book club.

Each bag includes:

  • 12 copies of a popular, discussable title (fiction and nonfiction)
  • Discussion questions
  • Reviews of the title from authoritative sources
  • Author biographical information
  • List of Read-alike titles or similar titles
  • Tips for leading a book club

To check out a bag:

  • Find the title you are interested in
  • Place a hold
  • Pickup the bag at your nearest Naperville Public Library building.

Return a bag:

  • Each bag checks out for six weeks and check out can be renewed if no one else is waiting for the bag. 
  • Bags can be returned to any of the three library buildings.

Program Guide

Registration Information

Most programs are free and don’t require advanced registration. Some computer and technology classes may have a non-refundable attendance fee that must be paid at the time of registration. Registration for these classes is taken at the computer lab desks.

If a program does require registration, it will be denoted like this: *Register.
